FRIVENTCA, S.A., was founded in 1978 as a company dedicated to the installation of air conditioning, ventilation, heating and refrigeration, as well as providing a preventive maintenance and repair service.

From the beginning, our company's policy has been based on offering the best product quality and providing a fast and efficient service with the aim of ensuring customer satisfaction at all times, which is why we work with the most important and reliable brands on the market.

Frequently asked questions

  • What does an air conditioner do?
    What air conditioners do, as the name suggests, is to condition the air. This is not limited to cooling or air conditioning, but also includes humidity control (humidification/dehumidification) and air cleaning and filtering.
  • What does heat pump mean?
    In addition to cooling, heat pump air conditioners can also heat the air in a room as a heating system. It is recommended for climatic zones with moderate winter temperatures.
  • What is Aerothermics?
    Aerothermics uses the same system for generating heat and/or cold as air-conditioning units, but incorporates the advantage of using this system to generate domestic hot water. The advantages are lower consumption, not depending on gas and even being able to incorporate other ecological technologies such as solar panels.    
  • What is the right temperature?
    The temperature of a room should be kept between 22ºC and 25ºC, although depending on the humidity it may be necessary to reduce the temperature to maintain the same thermal sensation. In any case, the recommended temperature during the summer is around 25ºC, as a difference of more than 12ºC with the outside temperature may not be healthy. 
  • What is the right humidity?
    Relative humidity values in the air in a room should be between 40% and 60%. It should be remembered that too dry an environment can affect the dryness of the respiratory tract.
  • Where is the right place to install an indoor unit?
    Indoor units should be installed in places where the air can circulate well throughout the room. It is not advisable to place these units close to places where people usually stay, as the low temperature of the air coming out of them may cause some health problems.

  • How often should the air conditioning system be serviced?
    It is essential that the equipment is maintained and cleaned for optimal maintenance. It is advisable to clean the filters once every two weeks or at least once a month during the months of use to prevent them from affecting the operation of the machine.
